2015 Sustainability Summit

Public enthusiasm and support for “going green“ is growing every day and responsive local governments are developing sustainability programs that save money, time and resources.

This fall the Metropolitan Water Reclamation District of Greater Chicago (MWRD) hosted its third annual Sustainability Summit with the theme “Becoming the Utility of the Future.” The event highlighted the MWRD’s sustainability and resource recovery initiatives, along with its expertise in stormwater management and waste water treatment. Municipal leaders and environmental experts gathered to discuss and learn about industry best practices and share their success stories

On this page you'll find 2015 Sustainability Summit materials, including the event press release, program, photos and the participant survey. If you attended and have not submitted your survey, please do so and send it to the MWRD Office of Public Affairs
