The District has contracted with INOVA, an independent EAP that offers professional and confidential counseling services to help address personal concerns and life issues such as legal, financial and family matters. The EAP is available 24 hours a day, and is free to employees and dependents.

Remember that accessing the EAP is a confidential matter. The District receives no information about who contacts the EAP or why.

Q: Does the EAP report to the District who called and for what type of services?

A: The EAP is completely confidential and does not disclose the identity of any participant utilizing their services.

Q: What is the cost per counseling session?

A: A maximum of eight (8) sessions per presenting problem is free to participants. If the presenting problem is not resolved in eight (8) sessions, the participant will be referred for alternative services.
